Primary Objective: This role will be responsible for establishing components of a master data program that includes data quality standards, metrics, rules, policies and monitoring. Objectives will include leading the development of Master Data quality standards, and the selection and implementation of tools to facilitate effective and accurate master data management, enabling automated quality metrics and proactively monitoring of data quality.

Major Areas of Accountability:
1. Responsible for the on-going management and development of assigned employees. Determines staffing and skill requirements to meet departmental needs and implements plans to satisfy those requirements.
2. Work with business master data leadership to define a Master Data Program that evolves over time from cleansing to ongoing quality management and opportunity identification.
3. Implement a systems solution that automates the rules, policies, oversight and quality of master data. Define rules, process flows and policies for master data quality and data management automation.
4. Participate in governance team discussions and provide a strong voice on critical decisions.
5. Identify, build, and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of a data quality and analytics program.
6. Partner with the Data Architect to ensure that data quality standards align with data architecture designs and strategy.
7. Provide training appropriate to expertise level to other personnel and internal customers as required.
8. Work with business data stewards and system analysts to provide appropriate standards for review, update, and creation of master data records across disparate systems to provide uniform definitions of key data components.
9. Participate in system implementation projects where needed to ensure that data standards are updated and that ownership for new data elements are established where appropriate.


• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Quality Management including Data Flows, Scorecards/Dashboards, Master Data Management, and Data Warehousing
• Experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Web Business Intelligence, Lumira, and Tableau
• Prior experience with Master Data Management tool deployments such as Informatica, BackOffice, or other
• Prior experience with ETL tools
• Capable of authoring and editing regular expressions for pattern matching and data cleanup
• Broad understanding of SAP standard info types and their relationships
• Expertise in building data architectures and data flow diagrams, both current and future state
• Experience designing master data standards that support internal data architecture
• Experience designing master data standards that enable or enhance system functionality within various SAP modules
• Ability to facilitate discussions and build consensus to achieve holistically beneficial outcomes
• Capable of identifying appropriate KPI’s to measure progress and health of enterprise data quality
• Strong command of business English, both written and verbal
• Ability to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally • US Citizen or Green Card required


Preferred Qualifications:
• Workflow Design
• Business System Analyst Experience in 2 or more SAP modules
• HANA database development
