Primary Objective:
To grow the software business at MTS in the Service Business by partnering with the Service, Equipment, and Business Partner Channels.

Major Areas of Accountability:
1. Drives Demand / Builds Pipeline

  •    Creates and executes market penetration plans in collaboration with Selling and Marketing stakeholders to drive demand for Software Service products
  •    Works with team members to create clear and easy to communicate value propositions in all software service products.

2. Enables Selling:

  •   Develops sales tools and delivers sales training for the organization.
  •   Identifies and works to eliminate barriers to efficient selling.
  •   Supports pursuits (as needed).

3. Develops, Manages and Reports Software Service Metrics

  •   In support of corporate goals, develops & measures targets to define the success of Software Service Products.
  •   Provides input and direction to the Newton team.

4. Gathers, Analyzes and Provides Market Intelligence:

  •   Acts as the primary point of contact for top-tier software service customers.
  •   Disseminates customer intelligence to partner Product Managers.
  •   Continuously gathers and analyzes competition, market trends, technology, customer needs and processes.

5. Provides Pricing Definition for Software Services based on business objectives and provides pricing for the Price List





  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater
  • 5 years of experience or more
  • Deep knowledge of sales cycle
  • Sales Training experience
  • Sales Coaching experience
  • VOC (voice of customer) experience
  • Up to 25% Travel
  • Experience with Software sales
  • Understand software development process
