JOB TITLE: Service Admin - Bangalore, India

Primary Objective:
This position is to perform commercial support aspects of the service contract and handles administrative tasks in the service operations efforts with its team members. 


Major Areas of Accountability:

  1. Manages revenue forecast plan and coordinate delivery to meet the revenue target.
  • Plans all per-call/parts/service contract billing on monthly/quarterly bases as per AOP targets.
  • Works with service supervisors to monitor delivery results to ensure timely revenue recognition.
  • Responsible for Inter company service order open/close request, billing to HQ.
  • Manages Past-due service order payment and update report on monthly base.


  1. Manages CRM implementation.
  • Follows new process as defined and drive for adaption to CRM system.
  • Aligns with inter-company communication plan for improvement.
  • Develops training for service admin team upon requests.


  1. Manages routing service administration work (some performed by service assistant), measures performance, monitors results, and takes corrective action to improve overall performance, including:-
  • Local inventory administration.
  • Local tools/Calibration kits/Gang-boxes/asset administration.
  • Manage Logistic – Domestic, Import & Export.
  • Local procurement work.   
  • Checks and verifies various service reports
  • May use software to provide price quotes to customers and sends copies to service sales


  1. Manages all commercial aspects of service order executions in assigned region and ensures meeting contract requirements and complying with internal procedures/policies:
  • Verifies order documentation/entry and creates order in CRM.
  • Manages parts required for installation, warranty, post-warranty, tracks deliver status to customer site and follows up with responsible FSE.
  • Manages customer repair & exchange parts, arranges shipping defective/repairable parts to US factory and track the returning.
  • Collects service report and submit to commercial support in a timely manner.


  1. Manages Month/quarter-end closing support per financial/SOX requirement. 


  1. Ensure compliance of service procedures and drive for continuous improvement.


      7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



    • Able to communicate in written and spoken English;
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.  User experience in SAP or equivalent preferred.
    • Pay attention to details; Efficient in task and time management.
    • Business and customer oriented mind-set. Requires considerate judgment in solving problems and making recommendations. Demonstrating satisfactory problem solving capabilities.
    • Communicating satisfactorily up, down and horizontally within the organization.
