Welcome to your new  Job and to new possiblites in MTS Sales Department Scandinavia!

Your sales territory will be Sweden and the Scandinavian countries like Denmark, Norway, Island and Finland

Your place of residence could be Gothenborg, Stockholm or Malmö.

 

Your new tasks :

Ensuring  best possible coverage of the assigned region and consistent development as well as improvement of the selling organization by:

  • Classification of customers
  • Creation of visit plans reflecting customer classification to ensure regular customer contact
  • Travel planning in regard to cost and time efficiency
  • Customer contact, personal and by phone
  • Identifing  and developing  prospects and new business areas
  • Identifing  and developing key accounts
  • Coordination of customer activities (to some extend on a global level) involving the local MTS facility, which may include synchronization of customer activities
  • Responding  promptly to inquiries to identify their needs for products or services, and qualifies leads
  • Leading  the selling pursuit with the involvement of order administration, application engineering, project engineering and service sales
  • Continuously monitoring changes on products, product innovations and other information related to products to be continuous up-to-date.
  • Informing  the customers about product changes and new products.
  • Ongoing market monitoring and evaluation, also with regard to new business opportunities and delivery of the market information to the proper departments (also with regard to associated MTS companies) where applicable.
  • Appropriate presentation of MTS systems and offers to customers in collaboration with application or system specialists
  • Providing  standard offers considering  specifications, price lists and guidelines
  • Being the Interface between customer and MTS:
    - Conducting or participating in price negotiations
    - Determining the status of the deliveriy
    - Monitoring scheduled delivery date
    - Obtaining technical data
    - Facilitating  technical support

 

  • Assisting  the customer in all project phases
    1. Conducting  project meetings during the pre-sales stage
    2. Visiting  reference systems with the customer, in some cases visits MTS Corporate, USA as well
    3. Acceptance
    4. Supporting  the customer after delivery of MTS systems

 

  • Passing  information concerning markets, customers and competition to sales, marketing and the product manager with the aim of increasing the market share of sales, to permanently asses the competition and to enable MTS to monitor new product trends early and informs product development in a timely manner to stabilize and extend MTS market leadership position.
  • Responsiblity  for proper processing of orders in SAP, with the involvement of the assisting departments
  • Administrative tasks related to the job
    1. daily reports, visiting reports in Salesforce.com twice a week
    2. travel expense statements on a weekly basis

 

What do you need to be successful in this exiting opportunity?

  • a technical or engineering degree ( mechanics, electronics, or similar)
  • field sales experience in "technical selling"  industrial technical products or projects
  • to like to work in sales
  • knowledge about material testing & material testing systems
  • Good English and Swedish  language knowledge
  • MS Office,  CRM ,  SAP
  • a very customer friendly behavior and  attitude
  • Consulting talent
  • and you are a team-player
